We are also integrating the Labacus^® with industry standard Electronic Lab Notebook software. Then it translates it to an English text writeup automatically and transfers everything to your desktop - writeup, reaction sketch and amounts table. Enter the planned amount of one reagent and the Labacus^® fills in your stoichiometry table automatically. It automatically computes amounts in volume or mass units as appropriate.  Then it instantly &mdash updates it on the fly, when you enter the actual measured amount (mass or volume) of a chemical or modify your reaction.

Comfortable Drawing

Just like drawing on a scrap of paper, only much smarter. Draw a reaction freehand with the Labacus^® stylus and it stores the structures, computes their molecular weights and builds a stoichiometry table. Understands element symbols and common functional groups, and allows you to define your own functional groups as well. Lets you draw drug-sized molecules in the lab without taking up lots of real estate on your lab bench.

Are the chemical catalogs in your lab well-thumbed? With the Labacus^® you have a database of over 40,000 reagents from the Sigma-Aldrich catalog at your fingertips. You can quickly and easily find that reagent data, and you'll never make a mistake entering it into the calculator again.
